These Driver Terms of Use govern access to and use of the Shanglen Driver app and related driver services provided by SaiyoTech Private Limited.

By registering, signing in, completing onboarding, going online, accepting orders, performing deliveries, uploading documents, receiving notifications, or otherwise using the Driver app, you agree to these Terms and the Driver Privacy Policy.

2. About Shanglen Driver

Shanglen Driver is a technology app for delivery partners to receive delivery assignments, coordinate pickup and delivery, update order status, share location while on duty, submit delivery proof, view earnings, and communicate with Shanglen operations.

Shanglen is operated by SaiyoTech Private Limited from Kwakeithel Near Lamdong Lampak, Imphal, Manipur, India.

3. Eligibility

You must be an eligible adult and legally capable of performing delivery services, entering into applicable agreements, and complying with local laws.

You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration, onboarding, KYC, vehicle verification, bank/payout setup, and delivery operations.

You are responsible for holding and maintaining any licence, registration, insurance, permit, vehicle document, device, internet access, and legal permission required for your delivery activity.

4. Driver Account Responsibility

Your driver account is personal to you. You must not sell, rent, transfer, share, or allow another person to use your account, device session, OTP, or assignment access.

You are responsible for all activity under your account and for keeping your profile, phone number, documents, vehicle details, bank details, and contact information accurate and updated.

5. OTP and Login Security

Shanglen may use phone OTP, Google sign-in, access tokens, refresh tokens, secure device storage, or other authentication methods. OTPs and login credentials are for your personal use only and must not be shared.

We may reject, rate-limit, review, suspend, or block login attempts, OTP requests, device sessions, or account activity that appears suspicious, unsafe, fraudulent, or inconsistent with these Terms.

6. Driver Onboarding and Verification

You may be required to submit profile details, identity documents, driving licence, vehicle documents, profile photos, address details, emergency contact details, and bank or payout details before or after activation.

Approval is not guaranteed. Shanglen may approve, reject, ask for more information, suspend, or re-review a driver account based on document quality, eligibility, safety, operational need, fraud checks, legal compliance, or platform policy.

7. Online and Offline Status

When you go online, you represent that you are available, reachable, fit to perform deliveries, carrying the approved device and vehicle where applicable, and ready to receive assignments.

The app may require location permission, GPS, network access, notifications, and foreground/background runtime support to keep you online. If these are unavailable, Shanglen may prevent online status, mark you offline, or stop assigning orders.

8. Delivery Assignment and Acceptance

Delivery assignments may depend on location, availability, order type, distance, service area, driver status, operational rules, customer/shop needs, and platform checks.

You should accept only assignments you can complete safely and lawfully. Failure to respond, repeated rejection, cancellation after acceptance, delay, or improper status updates may affect future assignments or account status.

9. Pickup and Delivery Responsibilities

You must follow the app flow for pickup, transit, payment collection where applicable, customer delivery, OTP or confirmation, and proof of delivery.

You must handle items carefully, verify order details where required, avoid tampering, keep products secure, follow reasonable shop/customer instructions, and complete deliveries honestly and promptly.

If a delivery cannot be completed, you must follow app instructions or contact support instead of marking a false status.

10. Location Tracking and Route Coordination

When you are online, travelling for pickup, or completing an active delivery, the Driver app may collect precise location data, including in the background where permitted, to maintain driver presence, assign orders, coordinate pickup, support navigation, show delivery progress, and resolve disputes.

Your location and delivery progress may be visible to customers, shops, admins, and operations teams as needed for order tracking, delivery coordination, safety, fraud prevention, and support.

You must not tamper with GPS, spoof location, block required tracking while on duty, use another person to carry your device, or otherwise misrepresent your route, presence, pickup, or delivery status.

11. Customer and Merchant Interaction Rules

You must communicate professionally and respectfully with customers, merchants, shop staff, support teams, and other personnel.

You may use customer, merchant, shop, address, phone, order, and delivery information only for completing the relevant Shanglen order. You must not save, misuse, disclose, market to, harass, or contact customers or merchants for unrelated purposes.

12. Prohibited Conduct

You must not commit fraud, create fake delivery events, submit false proof, misreport pickup or delivery status, misuse customer or merchant data, harass or threaten anyone, drive unsafely, violate traffic laws, share your account, or tamper with the app, GPS, location, notifications, payment, payout, or order systems.

You must not steal, damage, open, replace, consume, or misuse products; collect unauthorized payments; retain COD amounts improperly; bypass app flows; use unauthorized software; reverse engineer the app; or interfere with platform operations.

13. Earnings and Payouts

Driver earnings may depend on completed deliveries, delivery distance or rate rules, incentives, penalties, COD handover, disputes, cancellations, payout eligibility, and current operational policy.

Payout timing, method, minimum thresholds, deductions, adjustments, and settlement status may depend on Shanglen operational policy and payment or payout provider processing. Displayed earnings may be subject to reconciliation, corrections, taxes, chargebacks, penalties, or dispute outcomes.

You must provide accurate bank or payout details. Shanglen is not responsible for payout delay or failure caused by incorrect details, verification failure, provider downtime, compliance checks, or bank/payment network issues.

14. Order Cancellation, Failure, and Disputes

If an order is cancelled, cannot be picked up, cannot be delivered, is disputed, or has payment or verification issues, you must follow the app process and cooperate with support.

Shanglen may review location data, order status updates, proof photos, OTP events, payment records, customer/shop feedback, support records, and logs to resolve disputes or determine responsibility.

15. Device, Internet, and App Availability

You are responsible for maintaining a compatible device, battery, camera, location services, notifications, mobile data/internet, and app version needed to use the Driver app.

The app, sockets, maps, notifications, payments, storage, or other services may be unavailable or delayed due to maintenance, network issues, device settings, third-party services, outages, updates, or events outside reasonable control.

16. Suspension and Termination

Shanglen may restrict, suspend, deactivate, or terminate a driver account where we reasonably believe there is fraud, safety risk, legal risk, failed verification, document issue, account sharing, payment or COD issue, repeated delivery failure, misuse, misconduct, or breach of these Terms.

You may stop using the Driver app and request account deletion through the process described in the Driver Privacy Policy, subject to pending orders, payouts, COD handover, disputes, legal obligations, and required records.

17. Intellectual Property

The Shanglen name, Driver app, software, logos, interfaces, content, systems, and related materials are owned by SaiyoTech Private Limited or its licensors.

You may use the Driver app only for authorized Shanglen driver services. You must not copy, modify, distribute, sell, reverse engineer, scrape, misuse, or create derivative works from the app or platform materials without written permission.

18. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SaiyoTech Private Limited and Shanglen will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, lost earnings, lost data, missed assignments, third-party service failures, device or network issues, payment provider delays, customer or merchant conduct, or events outside reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
